Line 01

The operations assessment.

Two to four weeks, fixed in scope and fee before it starts. We document how your firm runs today, measure it out of your own systems, and hand you a roadmap. It is the only way an engagement starts.

The terms

Duration
Two to four weeks
Fee
Fixed, agreed in writing before the work starts
You keep
Everything it produces, whether or not you build with us

What we watch

We follow real cases end to end with the people who run them.

Not a questionnaire sent to the principal, and not a workshop about how things are supposed to work. We sit with the staff who do the work and follow live cases through every system they touch.

Two people working through a process at a desk, one taking notes

An onboarding, from signed agreement through to a funded account

An annual review, from scheduling through to the follow-up work it creates

A distribution or a money movement, including the approvals it needs

Whatever you tell us goes wrong most often

What we measure

We measure your baseline out of your own systems.

Every figure names the query or the report that produced it, so you can check it yourself later without asking us.

01

How long each process takes, taken from timestamps in your own systems

02

How many are open at once, and how many are waiting on somebody

03

Where the same fact is entered more than once, and where the copies disagree

04

What it costs your firm when a step is missed

What you get

What the assessment hands you

A written report, walked through in a working session, and yours whether or not anything is built afterwards.

System register
Every platform in use, which record each one owns, who administers it, and what it costs.
Process maps
Each recurring process end to end, with the real owner at each step and the point where it waits.
The baseline
Cycle times, volumes, and failure rates pulled from your own systems, with the query or report that produced each figure.
Findings
Where your operation is losing time, in order of what it costs you.
The roadmap
Scored for effort and impact, with compliance and staffing flagged on each item.
Scope and sequence
What a build would cover, in what order, with the dependencies stated.

What we need from you

We need less from your team than you expect.

The point of watching real work is that it does not need preparing. A tidied process is not the process.

A few hours each from the people who actually run the processes

Read access to the systems, at the narrowest permission that shows the work

One person named to answer questions as they come up

Nothing rebuilt, cleaned up, or prepared in advance

Afterwards

Three outcomes, and you choose.

What a build covers
A build, scoped and quoted
What a build would cover comes out of the findings and is priced before any of it starts, so you see the number before you commit to it.
Or a written no
If the constraint turns out not to be operational, we say so in writing and you stop there holding the documentation, the baseline, and the roadmap.
Or nothing at all
The report is yours either way. If you would rather run the roadmap with your own staff, that is a fair use of it and we will say so.
